Similar protests have been taking place around the United States and in cities around the world in response to the killing of George Floyd by police officers in Minneapolis on 25 May.

Rosie says “I just want some change and acknowledgement and that its not just the white mans history. I’m mixed race so my grandfather on the white side was in the Navy, he brought my family to Hong Kong, so I are up in China and move to Britain when I was 17 and couldn’t believe the devision in this country, so it would be nice to just have United Kingdom”.

He has no record never has never been arrested, the fact that we accept that this is normal, speaks for itself”. Rachael’s hope that this will stop for here 10 year old son Isaiah “and that he won’t be judged by the colour of his skin, and it won’t go against him when it comes to job, and that things are equal across the board”.
