In 2003 I had the opportunity of photographing the burning and harvesting of the sugar cane on the Caymanas Estate in St Catherine Jamaica.

The line used to be a vital transport link cutting its way through hills and tropical rain forests that ran all the way to Montego bay on the north coast of Jamaica,. Pechon Street.
